My favorite necklace. :)

I’m going to try something new. I’m really bad at posting on here because I’m busy with school and rehearsals for Guys and Dolls every night. So instead of doing the time-consuming searching the Internet for pictures to post, for 30 days I’m going to try this new idea that I really like.

It’s called The Beauty Around You Project, and you solely post pictures you’ve taken of your life, house, clothes, pets, friends, everything around you.

We all love Tumblr because we get to see images of things we wish our lives were like: beautiful places, food, hair, whatever. And that’s super lovely and dandy. But the idea of this project is that you begin to realize and appreciate the beauty that we all have around us.

Because beauty is everywhere, sometimes we’re just so used to it that we don’t realize it anymore.

And all those pictures we reblog are things that surrounded someone, somewhere, and they captured it and shared it, because they recognized the beauty of it.

So I really like this idea and I’m totally going to do the project! You should too! :) and if you do, don’t forget to include pictures of yourself, because YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.

I love Mulan.

She’s completely unlike the other Disney princesses. She has so much depth, and real struggles. She wants so badly to honor her family, but she knows she can’t do that and truly be herself. I adore the other princesses, but the fact is, most of them attracted their princes mainly because they were beautiful. Mulan spent most of her time with Shang dressed as a man. Not to mention she SAVES CHINA. Mulan is just awesome, period.
